November Weddings -
A pretty wedding was solemnized Wednesday afternoon, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Linder, Cross street, when their oldest daughter, Miss Dora, was married to Mr. Charles Gooding. Miss Zylpher Linder, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, while the groom was supported by Mr. A. Hellsby. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. G. Burn, and the wedding march was played by a cousin of the bride, Miss Gowing, of Milverton. After the ceremony, and congratulations were over, a sumptous wedding dinner was served. This disposed of, a few hours were spent in social chat, music, etc. The presents were numerous and suitable. The young couple dispensed with a wedding trip and will at once set up housekeeping in part of Mr. Kennedy's house on King Street. The Advertiser wishes them a long and happy married life.

They had one child, born September 30th, 1912. The Elmira Advertiser reports the child to be a son on Thursday Oct 3, 1912, page 2, while the Berlin News Record tells us that it was a daughter when Dora dies less than a month later. In fact, the child was a son named Garfield.
